Mbrio pregnancy headphones are easy to use – they work with your own earbuds.  Just pop your left earbud into the left adapter (letter “L” on face) and your right earbud into the right adapter (letter “R” on face), clip both Mbrio units into your waistband and you’re set!

Mbrio fits Apple EarPods (wired earbuds), Apple AirPods, Samsung/ AKG wired earbuds and Google Pixel wired earbuds.  To use with Samsung Galaxy earbuds, just remove the rubber covers from the “head” of the earbuds before inserting in Mbrio. 

Mbrio is compatible with Apple AirPods.  Just turn off Automatic Ear Detection in your iPhone settings first, as follows: (1) Launch the Settings menu on your iOS device and select Bluetooth; (2) Select the AirPods; (3) Toggle Automatic Ear Detection to Off.

Yes. Mbrio’s patented SoundSafe™ technology ensures that the volume is always safe for baby, even if your phone is playing at maximum volume. The precision-molded layer of silicone around the earbud reduces sound levels by up to 30 decibels (depending on frequency and volume) so it never exceeds 75 decibels, as recommended by the CDC, WHO and NIOSH (the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health). It’s failsafe as it cannot be bypassed or turned off.

The American Academy of Pediatrics does not recommend placing headphones or loudspeakers directly on mom’s belly while pregnant.  Mbrio has been specifically designed to keep the sound source close to mom’s belly without being in direct contact.   It does not matter if there is small gap between Mbrio and mom’s skin – your baby can still hear the music.  Additionally, Mbrio clips to your waistband, so there’s no need for the sticky pads used by pregnancy speaker systems.

We know that many pregnant moms have sensitive skin.  That’s why we decided to make Mbrio from medical-grade silicone (USP Class VI certified), so it’s completely safe.  Mbrio does not contain Latex, BPA or Phthalates.
